Camping!

Yes, we actually took our 3.5 year old twins on an overnight camping trip...in a tent! It was a lot of fun. Who needs sleep, right? The big kids camped for 2 nights and had the time of their lives running and exploring. Inks Lake State Park is gorgeous! I was a bit too busy between chasing my dynamic duo, and resting from the chase, to take many pictures.

Zack and I had fun watching Zoe's dance class practice while we discussed plans for the Spring Recital when they will dance to "Daydream Believer"

Well, I'm a bit behind with blogging, but better late than never! What an awesome Dad Zander has to take him to a comic book convention--it was fun for boys of all ages!

Merry November!

After a round of hair cuts this evening (3 inches off Zoe's golden locks!), the kids and I met up to play and eat with our neighbors at Doc's backyard. Here are the little munchkins as they tried to cooperate for a potential Christmas card pick. Cute, but not card worthy...good thing I'm starting early!

Reunion Weekend

Rick and I had a terrific time while visiting with (not so) old friends for my 20th high school reunion. The Z Pack had a blast staying with their grandparents for the night-thanks Nana and Lalo! Here I am with my dear friends Tracye and Connell-

Nana and Lalo said that the kiddos were "angels", and we are very grateful that they were able to stay for the night.

Football Weekend

Rick and I enjoyed catching some Longhorn football Saturday! We had fun even though our team didn't win this week-

Zack was reunited this weekend with his best buddy from his old pre-school. Hopefully we will play with Spencer again soon!

And let's hear big cheers for our Cowboy Superstar Zander who scored a touchdown and got an important flag today--way to go!!!

That's all my excitement for the weekend, not counting getting locked in and out of our garage today....while my super handy husband was working hard saving lives today. We survived :-)

Fire Fest Fun!

The kids had a great time when we went to Buda's annual Fire Fest this afternoon. Our friend Brad even gave us a VIP tour of his firetruck!
