Twins Rock!

With tired babies and a free coupon, this is what we got today at our trip to the mall...

And a special thanks to Jelly Belly's...Zander usually enjoys 4-8 jelly beans while watching Scooby Do after dinner. Well, he asked for 13 which used to sound like "firteen". I told him he could have 13 if he could say "thirteen", and bingo! Another speech milestone thanks to the magic beans!

9 weeks!

2 months along and we are doing great! The babies are awake more during the day and beginning to be asleep more at night (knock on wood). Nana made our weekend extra special by driving for a visit, and boy does she know how to make the babies smile! Here's our sweet Zoe-
Zander and Zack already share a special bond...
Here's Zack enjoying a conversation with Nana-
Zack, full of personality with his freshly washed 'do-
This is just a funny scene I found when going in to check on Zander late one night. The light is just from the flash, and I think he fell asleep sitting up. :) I had to run for the camera...

WELCOME PUENG!!!

We are very excited about the newest member of our family-- Molrudee "Pueng" Yana has joined us as our Au Pair from Thailand. Only here a few days, she is already a huge help to us! She has become great friends with Zander, is absolutely wonderful with the babies, and has cooked a fantastic Thai meal for us. We are happy that she is finally here and look forward to a great year!

Big changes...

Lots happening here in the Smith home... Babies have moved upstairs next door to their big brother (great exercise on the stairs). I enjoyed a good first week back to work and know that I will enjoy my balance of work and family. Also, I took the babies on their first road trip! We went to San Antonio for the twins to meet their Paramount Health Care family...they enjoyed all of their "Aunties" and napped like angels in the car. Our most exciting change deserves its own post...

Happy 4th of July!

Zander with his "Fruit Pizza" :) Thank you Food Network for the fun recipe! Zander loved sharing his creation with our friends at the party. Even Daddy pitched in by cutting the fruit roll up "pepperoni"--thanks Honey!
Stylin' in their outfits from their Great Aunt Barb-
The party animals crashed out in their East Texas "Bedazzle". They were 2 of 7 babies at the party celebrating their first Independence Day!

6 weeks!

Things are going great, and we even made it to a movie as a party of five today. Still little sleep for Mom and Dad, but we're hanging in there and enjoying it!
Nice to catch our Sweet Pea with her eyes open! :)
Here's our little Buddha (a.k.a.-Moose, Cuddle bug, Chunk, etc). He was very cozy to hold in the cold movie theater today.
